Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in a fast-growing life science consulting organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, contract review, billing, and accounts receivable management in compliance with ASC 606.
What You Will Do
Apply ASC 606 guidance to evaluate and recognize revenue for consulting, project-based, fixed-fee, T&M, FTE, milestone-based, and multi-element service arrangements. Review customer contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and change orders to assess revenue recognition implications, billing terms, variable consideration, and contract modifications.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in revenue accounting, contract accounting, invoicing, and accounts receivable
- Big 4 or public accounting/audit experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance and application to service-based arrangements
- Experience reviewing and interpreting complex customer contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and multiple-element arrangements
