Role OverviewJoin the AWS Data Center Engineering - BIM & AI Technologies team to pioneer the next generation of AI-powered design automation for AWS's global data center infrastructure. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you'll lead the design and implementation of novel generative AI applications that serve architects, engineers, construction managers, and facility operators.
What You Will Do
Design and architect scalable solutions for complex problems in the BIM and design automation space, lead the development of new features and services, write clean and maintainable code, collaborate with applied scientists, and work closely with product, design, science, and AECO subject matter experts.

Requirements
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of experience developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software solutions for the AECO industry
