Role OverviewLead a small team of software engineers responsible for Zipline's G&A systems across Finance and People. Build and evolve custom internal applications for Finance, People, Recruiting, Legal, Workplace, and other G&A teams.
What You Will Do
Build software that improves business workflows, including approvals, intake, case management, onboarding, employee lifecycle operations, finance operations, reporting, and operational controls. Partner with Finance and People to support billing, payments, procurement, close, auditability, controls, planning, accounting workflows, and integrations with financial systems.

- Practical judgment about when to build custom software and when to integrate with third-party platforms
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, building from first principles, and creating structure without waiting for perfect requirements
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining correctness in systems where accuracy, permissions, controls, and trust matter
- Strong communication skills with Finance, People, Legal, IT, Security, engineering, and leadership stakeholders
