Job Description
The Sr. Specialist, Member Engagement is responsible for continuous quality improvements regarding member engagement and retention. This role advocates for members, resolves issues and complaints, investigates access and cultural sensitivity concerns, and monitors grievances. They provide training, collaborate with care management, and serve as a resource for Molina staff and members regarding community agencies and Medicaid.

Requirements

  • Serves as an advocate for members to resolve issues and complaints.

  • Monitors grievances to identify trends and problem areas.
  • Provides timely written responses and documentation.
  • Provides training and educational materials.
  • Collaborates with Care Management.
  • Provides information and guidance to members with disabilities.
  • Analyzes internal HMO system functions.
  • Serves as a resource for Molina staff and members.
  • Participates in the Statewide Advocacy Program.
  • Participates in Quality Assurance and Improvement Committees.
