Role OverviewThe SSVF Intake Coordinator supports veterans seeking housing assistance and related support services. They conduct screenings and intake assessments to determine program eligibility and connect clients to appropriate resources.
What You Will Do
Must be able to interact effectively with veterans and community partners to explain program services and requirements. Complete pre-screens, intake assessments, and documentation review to determine SSVF eligibility.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have knowledge of customer service skills; previous telephone system experience preferred. Proficient computer skills required. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community engagement, or a related role
- Experience working with veterans or military families, or homeless populations is highly desirable
- Valid Driver's License and Insured Vehicle
- PPD (TB test required with proof of results; no more than 1 year old)

- Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
