Job Description
The Staff Accountant role at Asbury Automotive Group is responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates and performing general accounting duties.

Requirements

  • Prepare extended warranty and credit life policy transmittals and payments
  • Maintain 'Hot List' weekly
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain monthly accounting reports
  • Reconcile assigned schedules
  • Prepare timely VIT tax report
  • Reconcile Financial Reserve Statements monthly and remit payment when necessary
  • Process and record incoming wire transfers
  • Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller
  • Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Securities Policy and adhere to its requirements
  • Attend weekly department meetings
