Staff Accountant, Venue Accounting

The Staff Accountant – Venue Accounting provides accounting services for SFC-managed facilities. This role will be responsible for providing support for core accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly-close activities across a portfolio of clients.

What You Will Do

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on a timely basis as part of the monthly close cycle, record daily activity from client point of sale platforms into the general ledger, and perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Experience in multi-entity, hospitality, sports, entertainment, or service-based industries a plus
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and checklists effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
