Job Description
Sikich is seeking a Staff Accountant to work closely with engagement leaders and other staff to ensure the efficient and timely completion of financial statement audits for for-profit clients. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience, with prior accounting/audit internship experience or 1+ years of progressive public accounting background. They will also have strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS, and audit preparation software. Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Prior Accounting/Audit internship experience or 1+ years of progressive public accounting background
  • Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS, and audit preparation software
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • CPA certification or eligibility to sit is highly desirable
