Role OverviewThe Staff Accountant is responsible for a defined set of month-end accounting, reconciliation, and tax-compliance activities in accordance with Company policy and U.S. GAAP. The role owns U.S. sales & use and property tax filings, all intercompany reconciliations and journal entries, prepaid accounting, annual surveys and business license renewals, and a range of other journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
What You Will Do
Prepare all U.S. sales & use tax and property tax filings, complete annual surveys and business license renewals, perform US monthly intercompany reconciliations, prepare journal entries, record cash pool and cash sweep entries, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- One to three years of general accounting experience
- Experience preparing and posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations
- Experience with U.S. sales & use and/or property tax filings
- Experience with intercompany accounting and foreign exchange (FX) transactions
- Strong administrative and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize across competing deadlines
