Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to Albireo Corporate and local Management. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the department and performing additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

What You Will Do

Prepare and post daily cash entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc. in addition to adjusting journal entries. Perform account analysis and reconciliations on numerous Balance Sheet accounts, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, detailed weekly payroll analysis and intercompany tie outs among all Albireo entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• 3 years of relevant work experience in the field or related area
• Experience with monthly closings, working in the commercial construction industry strongly preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP experience highly desirable
• M&A, Implementation and conversion experience preferred
• Proven track record of adding value to businesses beyond a “number crunching” role
• Ability to critically analyze results and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Knowledge of construction industry, percentage of completion accounting and job costing preferred but not required
• Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation; Advanced excel skills required
