Job Description
The Staff Accountant is responsible for owning audit and tax schedules, maintaining tax knowledge, and owning elements of Vollrath's risk management program. In addition, the Staff Accountant owns general accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.

Requirements

  • Prepare schedules for corporate and benefit plan audits and related federal and state tax returns.
  • Own monthly, quarterly and annual sales and use tax and nexus compliance.
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and margin reports.
  • Support corporate risk management through preparation of annual insurance renewal schedules as well as ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage general compliance requirements, including government filings and surveys.
  • Support corporate leased vehicle program.
