Job Description
The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. The role requires strong accounting experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to accuracy and detail.

Requirements

  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Perform detailed general ledger account reconciliations
  • Maintain full responsibility for the reconciliation process for assigned accounts
  • Prepare daily and monthly financial reports
  • Develop and prepare ad hoc financial analyses and special reports
  • Partner with resort departments to provide guidance and support related to general ledger activity and financial reporting
  • Identify and implement process automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function
  • Reconcile transactions by reviewing, validating, and correcting financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with annual audit processes by coordinating with external auditors and providing required documentation and account support
  • Support annual external reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with software vendors to maintain and optimize accounting systems
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management
