Job Description
Sikich has a potential need for a Staff Accountant based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a BA/BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Previous experience working within a local or State government entity is preferred. The role will involve developing effective knowledge of Arizona State government, professional auditing standards, State fiscal procedures, and general auditing techniques.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Previous history of working within a local or State government entity preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • CPA or CPA Candidate actively pursuing CPA
