Job Description
The DSS Accountability Office is responsible for protecting the integrity of social services programs administered by the New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) and ensuring that DSS complies with all statutory, regulatory, and contractual standards.

Requirements

  • Must be permanent in the Management Auditor Civil Service title or a comparable title eligible for 6.1.9 title change
  • Or hired provisionally as a Management Auditor and pass the Management Auditor Civil Service exam
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, 24 semester credits in accounting, and one year of experience in management auditing, financial auditing, and/or IT auditing
