Job Description
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking an Administrative Accountant to serve as a Staff Auditor in the Department of Internal Audit and Assessment. This role involves performing professional and administrative duties, preparing and interpreting audit reports, managing audits, and assisting in the creation of Internal Audit Procedures. NYCHA values integrity, ethics, and professionalism in a public housing environment.
Requirements
Perform difficult professional work in the preparation and administration of agency budgets.
Develop audit procedures and analyze results.
Participate in External Audit studies and interpret auditing standards.
