Job Description
Cube is a cloud-based FP&A platform that helps companies hit their numbers without sacrificing their spreadsheets. We're looking for a Staff Back-End Engineer to shape the architectural patterns, infrastructure standards, and engineering habits that allow our entire team to scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Deep knowledge of Django internals
  • Experience with dataframe-based computation tools such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy
  • Strong experience building and evolving distributed systems across cloud infrastructure
  • Proven ability to define engineering standards, design reusable abstractions, and improve developer velocity through internal tooling and frameworks
  • Effective communicator able to clearly explain architectural trade-offs
