Job Description
Re:Build Optimation is seeking a Staff Chemical Engineer to lead chemical engineering efforts on sophisticated industrial and capital projects from concept development through startup and commissioning. This senior individual contributor role is perfect for a technically strong engineer who enjoys addressing ambiguous problems, directing project course, and mentoring engineers while being hands-on in process design efforts.
Requirements
BS or MS in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in industrial process equipment and/or capital project environments
Proven technical leadership across chemical engineering capital projects
Strong systems-level thinking and ability to manage technical tradeoffs
Deep knowledge of chemical processing unit operations (fluids/solids handling, heat transfer, reactions, separations, drying) and relevant chemical process industry codes, standards, and regulations
