Role OverviewJoin Linktree's platform engineering team as a Staff Frontend Engineer to work on Arbor, our design system. You'll own the technical direction of the platform, its architecture, component APIs, design-system practices, and delivery standards. You'll split your time between hands-on frontend craft and partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders on where the platform goes next.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain the shared component library and design system, component APIs, design tokens, theming, accessibility, and documentation. Set the technical bar for frontend architecture, code quality, and delivery practices. Define and evolve Arbor's frontend platform strategy in close partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders.

Requirements
- 8+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Significant time operating at a Staff or equivalent level
- Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
- Hands-on fluency with the building blocks of a design system: component API design, design tokens and theming, versioning, and accessibility
- A track record of mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar of the people around you
