They are seeking a Staff Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead the design and development of automation solutions for data center systems. This role involves building and maintaining systems, collecting data, and collaborating with partners to improve operational performance and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Hands-on professional experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (Designer, Perspective, Vision, scripting, SQL integration, reporting)
  • Proven ability to build scalable, maintainable automation projects in a production environment
  • Background in BMS/EPMS, SCADA, or ICS systems, ideally in data center or other mission-critical facilities
  • Familiarity with control protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, and integrating diverse building systems into a unified platform
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, PLC/DDC logic, and industrial automation concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
