Role OverviewThe Staff Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit provides professional nursing care to all people of all ages and their families.
What You Will Do
Utilizes knowledge of nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate and document care. Formulates nursing diagnosis for treating actual or potential health problems, teaching, counseling and providing care.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited colleges or universities – HIGHLY PREFERRED
- One (1) year critical care experience - REQUIRED
- Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer knowledge and skills
- Multidisciplinary team and patient capability.
- Computer application skills – ALLSCRIPTS, EPIC, Microsoft Excel
