Role OverviewProvides direct patient care in the Maternal Child Health setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.
What You Will Do
Perform head-to-toe assessments, reassessments, and pain management. Revises plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness.

Requires a CA licensed Registered Nurse with one year acute care experience during the past two years. Minimum 2 years L & D experience and recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience and clinical knowledge required.
Requirements
- CA licensed Registered Nurse
- One year acute care experience during the past two years
- Minimum 2 years L & D experience
- Recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience and clinical knowledge
- Successful fetal monitoring class completed every two years
- Current BCLS & ACLS
- Current NRP Certification
- Current STABLE Certification preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
