Role OverviewThe Staff Nurse (RN) - Burn provides and coordinates nursing care within the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, under general supervision. The role involves protecting, promoting, and optimizing health, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through treatment.
What You Will Do
The nurse will document interventions and an individualized plan of care, partner with patients and their families, and possess telemetry competence within 6 months of hire.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of recent professional nursing experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting, with ICU or Burn experience strongly preferred. Certification in a clinical specialty and a BSN degree are also preferred.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
