Role OverviewStaff Nurse RN (0.8 FTE) will work with patients in the Chronic Pain clinic, providing and coordinating nursing care within the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model. The role involves protecting, promoting wellness, and optimizing health, as well as triaging patients and alleviating suffering. The nurse will partner with patients, their families, and significant others, documenting interventions and individualized plans of care.
What You Will Do
The Staff Nurse RN (0.8 FTE) will provide nursing care to patients in the Chronic Pain clinic, including assessing symptoms, referring patients to appropriate settings, and treating the human response. The nurse will also educate patients on their disease process, assure continuity of care, and educate patients and families in preventative care.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
- One year of ambulatory experience in a primary clinic setting
- One year of nursing experience in ambulatory caring for patients with chronic pain
- Proficiency with EPIC Inbasket
