Role OverviewJoin Northrop Grumman's Avionics Integration Organization as a Staff Electronics Engineer - Supplier Management Team (SMT) Lead. This role is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the SMT, managing supplier performance, and reporting supplier status to Program Managers and IPT Management. The selected candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, engaged in diverse assignments, within a collaborative/team setting across all levels of the organization.
What You Will Do
Coordinate the efforts of the SMT, manage supplier performance, conduct or coordinate review of supplier documentation, and report supplier status to Program Managers and IPT Management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The selected candidate should have experience working with aerospace electronic systems, Comms systems, and/or payloads, as well as Supplier Management experience. An active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience
- Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience
- PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience
- Experience working with aerospace electronic systems, Comms systems, and/or payloads
- Supplier Management Experience
- Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time
