Role OverviewJoin Traba as a founding member of the Agents team to lead the development of Traba's agentic platform, synthesizing data, talking to operational systems, and acting autonomously. Partner with the CTO to make architectural calls, set quality and reliability standards, and bring an outside perspective on agent-building and data-product craft.
What You Will Do
Architect Traba's agent platform, own foundational technical decisions, spend time in the field with customers, build evaluation as an engineering discipline, hire and mentor engineers, and partner with leadership on the platform roadmap.

You'll also have a track record of leading 0-to-1 builds, designing distributed systems, and working with LLM- or agent-based systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of hands-on production work on LLM- or agent-based systems
- Deep in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js
- Distributed systems, APIs, and data models on PostgreSQL and modern messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent)
- Ownership of a non-trivial production agent system
- Background in vertical AI / AI-agent company, forward-deployed engineering role, or AI-native data company
- History of leading 0-to-1 builds in early-stage environments
