Job Description
Form Energy is revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are hiring a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Mechanical to support the transfer of sheet metal components to suppliers. This role reports into our Global Supply Management team and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for cost, assembly, and manufacturability.

Requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for cost, assembly, and manufacturability.
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) reviews with suppliers prior to design freeze.
  • Own the execution of the Quality Maturation Level (QML) roadmap from early prototype builds through full Start of Production (SOP) and PPAP submissions.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate program schedule risks.
  • Drive closed-loop Non-Conformance Management by issuing and managing Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
  • Monitor ongoing supplier performance and QMS effectiveness through regular on-site process control plan audits and data tracking.
