Role OverviewJoin our team as a Staff Tax Accountant and contribute to the preparation of federal, state, and local corporate and partnership tax returns. Our team is currently working a hybrid schedule, with a mix of in-office and remote work.
What You Will Do
Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, extensions, estimated payments, and tax provisions. Assist with responses to taxing authorities and field audits, and provide tax advice to management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a bachelor's degree in accounting and experience in public accounting. If you have a CPA and/or Master's in Tax, that's a plus!
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA and/or Master's in Tax (plus)
- One tax season in public accounting (preferred)
- Preparation of Federal 1120, 1065, and state tax returns
- Knowledgeable in Excel
- Knowledgeable in OneSource or GoSystems tax preparation software and tax research software
- Knowledgeable in Sage Fixed Assets (plus)
