Starbucks Barista

This role is part of Target's Food & Beverage team, ensuring a consistent guest experience by maintaining fresh, in-stock, and accurately priced products. As a Starbucks Barista, you will curate handcrafted Starbucks beverages and manage food quality and freshness while adhering to safety guidelines.

What You Will Do

Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find items, and resolving issues. Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, cleaning, and food safety. Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications, support the Starbucks Drive Up process, and maintain an inviting dining area.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
• Interpret instructions, reports and information
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders if needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
• Ability to work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions; where common allergens may also be handled or present
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)
