Job Description
As a Starbucks Barista at Target, you will provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks' Food quality and freshness management, upholding and maintaining the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards, and executing food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing, and storing reserve product. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining an inviting dining area, and supporting the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Resolve guest questions quickly
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
  • Climb up and down ladders
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) reliable and prompt attendance necessary
  • Ability to work in an environment that could range from 34°F to -10°F as needed
  • Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
