Role OverviewThe Start Up Technician is responsible for the field-based startup of mechanical equipment, pre-commissioning, testing, and initial hand-over of mechanical systems and equipment. This role ensures the newly installed mechanical systems are functional, efficient, safe, and meet design, manufacturer specifications, and MSS overall quality standards.
What You Will Do
Execute and document mechanical system and equipment startups, troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems, read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals, coordinate with MSS management and trade partners, and complete startup documentation and checklists.

Requirements
- EPA Refrigerant License
- Ability to pass MVR requirements to drive a company vehicle
- Previous experience in residential or light commercial split-level install
- Ability to evacuate and recharge systems
- Attending or completed HVAC technical training
