Requirements

• Enter orders for intravenous medication in pharmacy computer system per physician order according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Maintains adequate inventory of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
• Maintains IV pumps according to established policies and procedures.
• Compounds large-volume intravenous medications.
• Maintains compounding logs and patient information sheets.
• Maintains cleanliness of cleanroom and anteroom.
• Documents environmental monitoring of cleanroom and anteroom according to established schedule.
• Completes and documents all assigned medication storage area inspections at least monthly;
