Job Description
Thompson is seeking a State Director for North Carolina to lead a team of leaders across the state and oversee operations with an emphasis on Foster Care program expansion.

Requirements

  • Leadership Development: Select, train and evaluate program directors, foster a culture of accountability and mission alignment among staff, and develop high potential staff into future leaders.
  • Strategic Oversight: Think in terms of profitability, monitor financial health, review data trends, and ensure compliance with state level policies and reporting requirements.
  • Business Acumen: Communicate clearly, manage time well, and grow direct reports as business leaders.
  • Networking and External Relations: Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners, participate in state and local coalitions, and develop strategic relationships with government officials and community influencers.
