Job Description
Indiana State Eligibility Manager is seeking an experienced professional to join the Family and Social Services Administration. This role involves ensuring eligibility programs are accurate and efficient, supervising staff, recruiting and training employees, and managing client interactions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the state's mission to support families and protect dependents.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in counseling, social services, education, public administration, or an accredited college training in a related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in an administrative, managerial, or supervisory capacity.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Thorough knowledge of benefit processing and relevant regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of the state and federal rules, regulations and policies governing public assistance programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of established social work principles and theories.
  • Specialized knowledge of the computer eligibility system and its operation.
