Job Description
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is seeking a State Law Enforcement Dispatcher to work at the Lake Worth Regional Communications Center. The dispatcher will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching troopers and other law enforcement officers, and monitoring and responding to radio and data communications traffic. The position requires a high school diploma, 18 years of age, and the ability to work rotating days and shifts, including weekends and holidays. The salary is $37,936.80 annually, with additional pay for shift differentials and Competitive Market Pay.

Requirements

  • Willing and able to work rotating days and shifts to ensure coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or a general equivalency diploma is required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
