Job Description
Whitley Penn is seeking a State & Local Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete, and timely preparation of all client assignments, as well as developing and training associates and making associations to develop new business for the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA License
  • 5-7 years of state & local income/franchise tax compliance and consulting experience
  • Corporate & partnership state & local income/franchise tax experience
  • Advanced technical knowledge of state income/franchise tax law, regulations and other guidance in Texas and other key states
