Job Description
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a Stationary Engineer to work at City-owned Detention Facilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, testing, and adjusting various equipment, including boilers, furnaces, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

Requirements

  • Valid license for High Pressure Boiler Operating Engineer issued by the New York City Department of Buildings
  • Ability to operate control consoles in control rooms
  • Ability to read meters, gauges, and other recording devices
  • Ability to maintain accurate logs of data
