Job Description
The Stationary Engineer position is critical to the operation of the Public Health Lab, a 24/7/365 facility. The Engineering staff monitors all critical Building and Laboratory equipment and answers to emergencies as required.

Requirements

  • Valid license for High Pressure Boiler Operating Engineer issued by the New York City Department of Buildings
  • 24/7 additional coverage during the cooling and winter seasons to monitor and watch and adjust water levels, fire suppression, and manually perform duties where automation is failing
