Statutory Financial Reporting Analyst

Prepares financial reporting requirements for the State of Hawaii Insurance Division, applying knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Prepare annual and quarterly reports, maintain accounting records, and provide supporting schedules and explanations to auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Two (2) years of related work experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Financial analysis skills
• Project coordination and documentation skills
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
