Role Overview

The Steep Slope Foreman will repair, remove, and install steep slope commercial roofs with shingles, slate, tile, metal, and related materials. They will supervise and mentor laborers and roofers on the job and operate a company vehicle to multiple jobs sites each day.

What You Will Do

Thoroughly review the job file, shop drawings, and scope of work with the manager, including materials ordered, delivery schedule, labor budget (man-days), and job site contacts. Attend all coordination and planning meetings; meet with GC and customers as needed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have the ability to travel 80% Monday – Friday. Must be fluent in English, and Spanish is a plus.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years of hands-on steep slope commercial roofing
  • Driver's License: Required
  • Must be approved to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
  • OSHA10, First Aid, and CPR Training preferred
  • Must be fluent in English, and Spanish is a plus
