Role Overview

The Sterile Processing Educator designs, plans, and manages education projects in the Sterile Processing Department, aligning education goals with business needs and identified strategies of Tampa General Hospital. The role involves exercising independent judgment and advanced SPD skills, collaborating with the manager, and participating in department operations.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include designing learning and delivering training, measuring and evaluating the impact of education, contributing to the improvement of human performance, and maintaining department-based CBO (Competency-based orientation).

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Healthcare Materials Management, with national certification in CRCST and CIS, or CST, or CMRP, and at least 5 years of experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
