Job Description
Possessing an SPD-Relevant Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) with a minimum 2 years of experience, the Sterile Processing Technician III manages the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation, including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, and sterilization.

Requirements

  • Graduate of high school or GED equivalency examination
  • Certified and maintain a certification in sterile processing as a CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in sterile processing
  • Ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of processes
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure health care environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Detail oriented required
