Sterilization Technicians assist dentists during procedures, take and develop x-rays, and maintain a clean work environment. They also provide patient care and instruction, and assist with office management tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sterilization techs are not required to carry any license or certification
  • Willingness to provide on-the-job training for sterile techs to get their dental assisting license and necessary expanded functions
