Requirements

• Meet with patients to explain insurance coverage, benefits, and estimated out-of-pocket costs
• Provide clear, compassionate guidance on financial responsibility, including deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and non-covered services
• Educate patients on available financial assistance programs and payment options
• Set up payment plans for patients with balances that cannot be paid in full
• Assist patients in enrolling in financing options (e.g., third-party financing programs)
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding patient balances as appropriate
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing, statements, and financial policies
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls related to patient financial responsibility
• Provide timely and accurate follow-up on financial questions or concerns
