Job Description
Harrah’s Resort Southern California is seeking a full-time Steward Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to all aspects of food preparation and supplies management. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, training, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and assisting with budget and planning. Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • At least three years of stewarding or related janitorial experience
  • At least one year in multi-unit/one year in supervision preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation requirements
  • Certification in sanitation management a plus
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to administer direct supervision of assigned staff
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a San Diego County Food Handler’s card
  • Ability to perform physical job duties of line employees
  • Ability to work in a hazardous environment (hot/cold) (up to 130 degrees or 0 degrees)
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull
  • Willingness to work long hours
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to operate a kitchen equipment and machinery
  • Willingness to work in stressful situations
