Job Description
Harrah’s Resort Southern California is seeking a full-time Steward Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to all aspects of food preparation and supplies management. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, training, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and assisting with budget and planning. The position offers a fun and innovative culture with a focus on customer and employee relationships.
Requirements
College degree preferred
At least three years of stewarding or related janitorial experience
At least one year in multi-unit/one year in supervision preferred
Knowledge of sanitation requirements
Certification in sanitation management a plus
Computer literate
Ability to administer direct supervision of assigned staff
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain a San Diego County Food Handler’s card
Ability to perform physical job duties of line employees
Ability to work in a hazardous environment (hot/cold) (up to 130 degrees or 0 degrees)
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull
Willingness to work long hours
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to operate a kitchen equipment and machinery
Willingness to work in stressful situations
