Role Overview

The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Stewarding Department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organization throughout all Food & Beverage and back-of-house areas. This role supervises and supports stewarding colleagues, maintains operational efficiency, and serves as a key partner to Culinary, Banquets, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure exceptional service execution.

What You Will Do

The Stewarding Supervisor will supervise and coordinate stewarding staff, train and coach team members, oversee proper usage and care of dishwashing machines and cleaning chemicals, monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, and work closely with the culinary and banquet teams to ensure seamless support during service.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team-development skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Experience supporting banquet and large-scale event operations
  • Proficiency with hotel systems and technology platforms
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weights and remain on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to comprehend budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports
