Role OverviewThe store clerk reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to both the assistant store managers and shift leaders. This position is responsible for duties such as cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and monitoring perishables.
What You Will Do
Operate a cash register efficiently, perform checkout procedures, handle cash, EBT, debit cards, credit cards, WIC vouchers, gift cards, coupons, and checks. Maintain excellent store conditions, assist with unloading delivery trucks, and stock product on platforms, shelving, and in baskets or refrigerated cases.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have proven efficient retail sales experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English, and demonstrate effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
