Job Description
Supports the Store Concept & Design team, working on various project types including new stores, remodels, refreshes, and special projects, with a focus on verifying and managing MEP systems. Works on designing, coordinating, and managing construction documents, and collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure efficient and constructible designs. Collaborates with HVAC vendors, controls vendors, and other stakeholders to design control systems, review shop drawings, and provide technical support during construction.

Requirements

  • Review leases and tenant criteria manuals for MEP requirements
  • Review site surveys and existing tenant drawings
  • Work with cross-functional partners to ensure MEP drawings are clear, efficient and constructible
  • Support Designers in management of 3rd party Architectural & Engineering consultants and HVAC Commissioning Vendors
  • Coordinate with HVAC vendors to specify equipment and review submittals
  • Coordinate with controls vendors to design control systems and review shop drawings
  • Audio & Video system coordination
  • Provide technical support during construction on RFIs and during HVAC commissioning and startup
  • Help establish and review MEP Design Standards, Master Construction Documents, and MEP processes
