Job Description
As a full-time Store Manager at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for leading a team to meet and exceed sales targets and growth goals while providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive store culture. You will be passionate about serving your community, love shoes, and be enthusiastic about the product and presentation of your store.

Requirements

  • Has a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Has 1-5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
  • Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
  • Displays an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
  • Exhibits ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with Territory Sales Manager as needed.
  • Displays cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrates expertise and proven ability to lead general retail practices and procedures.
  • Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
  • Has basic computer skills.
