Role OverviewThe Store Manager is a leader of the team at Toys"R"Us, responsible for creating an animated and appealing environment, inspiring and motivating the team, and delivering a positive and memorable customer experience. The role requires a strong partnership with the visual merchandising team, flawless execution of merchandising standards, and a customer-centric approach. The Store Manager will also be responsible for planning and analyzing the business, establishing strategic plans to generate sales, and analyzing KPIs to make real-time business decisions.
What You Will Do
The Store Manager will be responsible for creating a captivating in-store experience, ensuring product knowledge, selling skills, and engagement methods are shared with the team. They will also be responsible for teaching what they know and sharing what they learn with the Home Office partners, communicating customer insights, and providing constructive feedback. Additionally, the Store Manager will ensure all Associates remain updated on company policies and store promotions, and are competent in maximizing resources to improve customer and associate experiences.

Requirements
- BA, BS or Associate's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or event execution management
- Proven successful experience as a retail store manager with sales focus
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention is preferred
- Experience in behavioral coaching, conflict management, training, and development is a plus
