Job Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Storekeeper 2 to lead a team of incarcerated individuals in receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing stock, supplies, and equipment in assigned work areas. The position involves enforcing storeroom or warehouse procedures, inventory management, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, OSHA and/or other safety standards and practices applicable to storeroom or warehouse operations, and possess skills in store management, purchasing, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages
  • 6 months training or experience in inventory control
  • 3 months training or experience in OSHA and/or other safety standards and practices applicable to storeroom or warehouse operations
  • Ability to pass security screen
